Section 26-10C-1 Registration of putative fathers; notice of intent to claim paternity; release of information. (a) The Department of Human Resources shall establish a putative father registry which shall record the names, Social Security number, date of birth, and addresses of the following: (1) Any person adjudicated by a court of this state to be the father of a child born out of wedlock. (2) Any person who has filed with the registry before or after the birth of a child born out of wedlock, a notice of intent to claim paternity of the child, which includes the information required in subsection (c) below. (3) Any person adjudicated by a court of another state or territory of the United States to be the father of a child born out of wedlock, where a certified copy of the court order has been filed with the registry by the person or any other person. Section 27-29B-7 NAIC and third-party consultants. (a) The commissioner, at the insurer's expense, may retain third-party consultants, including attorneys, actuaries, accountants, and other experts not otherwise a part of the staff of the commissioner as may be reasonably necessary to assist the commissioner in reviewing the CGAD and related information or the insurer's compliance with this chapter. Section 32-9B-6 Teleoperation systems; Remote driver of vehicle considered its operator; license to operate; accidents. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, a commercial motor vehicle equipped with a teleoperation system may operate without a conventional driver physically present in the vehicle if a remote driver is operating the vehicle. (b) When a remote driver is operating a commercial motor vehicle, the remote driver is considered to be the operator of the vehicle for the purpose of assessing compliance with applicable traffic or motor vehicle laws, including the rules of the road, and for the purpose of any charge for a violation of Title 13A or this title. Section 8-7A-9 Renewal of license. (a) All licenses under this chapter shall expire on March 31 of the calendar year. (b) A licensee under this chapter shall pay an annual renewal fee no later than March 15. Section 12-9A-2 Reallocation of vacant judgeship. (a) Only in the event of a vacancy due to death, retirement, resignation, or removal from office of a district or circuit judge, the Judicial Resources Allocation Commission shall have 30 days to determine whether to reallocate such judgeship to another district or circuit. The commission may also choose to reallocate a judgeship if the incumbent judge is not eligible to run for reelection as a result of the age limitation provided for in Section 155 of the Constitution of Alabama 1901, as amended, by notifying the Secretary of State no later than one year prior to the close of qualifying for candidates to run for such judgeship.
