Section 34-1A-6 Licenses - Exceptions. The licensing and regulatory provision of this chapter shall not apply to any of the following persons, entities, or activities: (1) The installation, servicing, monitoring, or responding to an alarm device which is installed in a motor vehicle, aircraft, or boat. (2) The installation of an alarm system on property owned by or leased to the installer. (3) A person or business entity who owns, installs, services, or monitors alarm systems, CCTV systems, electronic access control systems, or mechanical locking systems, on property owned by or leased to him or her or the business entity or, if the person or business entity does not charge for the system or its installation, installs it for the protection of his or her personal property located on the property of another, and does not install or monitor the system as a normal business practice on the property of another. Section 13A-9-150 Public assistance fraud; penalties. (a) For the purposes of this section, public assistance means money or property provided directly or indirectly to eligible persons through programs of the federal government, the state, or any political subdivision thereof, including any program administered by a public housing authority. Section 9-16-83 Permits - Contents of application; reclamation plan; copy of application filed for public inspection; insurance; blasting plan. (a) Each application for a surface coal mining reclamation permit under this article shall be accompanied by a fee as determined by the regulatory authority, but not to exceed the anticipated cost of reviewing, administering, and enforcing the permit. In no event shall the permit fee be less than one thousand dollars ($1,000). The regulatory authority shall develop procedures to enable the cost of the fee to be paid over the life of the mine. (a) Upon the satisfaction of a security interest in a manufactured home for which the certificate of title is in the possession of the lienholder, he or she, within 10 days after demand, shall execute a release of his or her security interest, in the space provided therefor on the certificate or as the department prescribes, and mail or deliver the certificate and release to the next lienholder named therein, or, if none, to the owner or any person who delivers to the lienholder an authorization from the owner to receive the certificate.
