Section 11-51-90.2 Purchase of business license; classification of taxpayers; vehicle decals; determination of gross receipts; construction with other provisions. (a) Every taxpayer required to purchase a business license under this chapter shall: (1) Purchase a business license for each location at which it does business in the municipality, except as otherwise provided by the municipality. Section 32-6-111 Preparation; issuance; proof to be submitted by applicant; use. The distinctive license plates provided for in this division shall be prepared by the Commissioner of Revenue and shall be issued through the judge of probate or license commissioner of the several counties of the state in like manner as are other motor vehicle license plates or tags, and such officers shall be entitled to their regular fees for such service. (a) A member of the Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America who is the owner of a motor vehicle and a resident of the state may be issued a distinctive license tag or plate bearing the words "The Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine" across the top portion of the tag or plate and bearing its logo between the county identification number and the actual license number. Section 32-6-213 Probate judge or county official may issue temporary tags and certificates. Each judge of probate of this state or other county official in this state authorized and required by law to issue motor vehicle license tags shall have the authority, upon proper request, to issue a temporary license tag and a temporary registration certificate to the owner of a motor vehicle to be licensed in this state when, due to circumstances, a permanent license tag cannot immediately be issued or when, in the judgment of the probate judge or other county official authorized and required by law to issue motor vehicle license tags, just cause exists for the issuance of such temporary license tag and registration certificate.
