Section 23-7-6 Funding; pledge of revenues. (a) The following sources may be used to capitalize the bank and for the bank to carry out its purposes: (1) An annual contribution, as determined by the Director of the Department of Transportation and approved by the Governor, of an amount not to exceed revenues produced by one cent ($.01) a gallon of the tax on gasoline imposed pursuant to subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of Section 40-17-325. Any funds contributed pursuant to this subdivision shall be derived from the gasoline tax proceeds collected during the fiscal year remaining in the Public Road and Bridge Fund after distributions of the tax to the cities and counties. Section 45-14-200 Additional issuance fee on motor vehicles, manufactured homes, motor homes, and motorcycles. (a) This section shall apply only to Clay County. Section 32-6-350 Legislative intent. (a) It is the intent of the Legislature to establish an Alabama Veteran Tag Program to recognize certain veterans. (b) The owner of a motor vehicle who is a resident of this state and who is an eligible veteran pursuant to subsection (c) of this section may be issued a distinctive license tag pursuant to this division. The department shall refuse issuance of certificate of title if any required fee is not paid or if the department has reasonable grounds to believe that one of the following exists: (1) The applicant is not the owner of the vehicle. (2) The application contains a false or fraudulent statement.
