Section 32-6-551 Distribution of proceeds. (a) The net proceeds of the additional revenues
derived from sales of the "Proud of Our Indian Heritage" distinctive plates less
administrative costs, including the costs of production incurred by the Revenue Department
in producing the plates, shall be distributed by each judge of probate or license commissioner
to the state Comptroller. The state Comptroller shall distribute the net proceeds monthly
to the Alabama Indian Affairs Commission which shall evenly distribute 50 percent of the proceeds
to the tribes represented on the commission and recognized by the State of Alabama. The funds
shall be used for cultural, educational, and economic development purposes. (b) The net proceeds
of the additional revenues derived from sales of the "Alabama Poultry Foundation"
