Section 41-10-768 Legislative intent. It is the intent of the Legislature that payments allocated
in Section 41-10-757 to the Alabama Trust Fund for the purpose of repaying amounts transferred
to the State General Fund pursuant to Section 4 of Amendment 856 to the Constitution of Alabama
of 1901 shall be in lieu of the fiscal year 2017 State General Fund appropriation of $20,000,000
to the Alabama Trust Fund Board for the same purpose as provided in Act 2016-116 and that
such $20,000,000 be used instead to release a portion of the conditional appropriation to

Section 16-13-98 Preference and payment of warrants and care of fund. All warrants issued hereunder
by a county or city board of education shall be payable solely from the county or city board
of education's apportioned share of the proceeds of the special tax in respect of which they
were issued, but this shall not prohibit their payment from any other funds which may be available
therefor under any other provision of law; provided, that in no event shall such warrants
be payable from such other funds if the effect thereof would be to subject such warrants to
any constitutional debt limit or to any constitutional requirement that they be authorized

Section 34-27B-6 Trust fund. There is established a separate special trust fund in the State
Treasury to be known as the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy Fund. All funds received

chapter shall be required to complete 16 hours of continuing education as a condition for
