Section 33-5-11 Certificates of registration and numbers generally - Application for and issuance of certificate and number; certificate requirements; distinctive identification stickers; replacement stickers; fees; rules. (a) The owner of each vessel requiring numbering by this state shall file an application for a number with the probate judges' offices, or license commissioner, in the county of residence of the purchaser, or the county in which the vessel is domiciled, or in the county where the vessel is purchased on forms approved by the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency. The application shall be filed by the owner of the vessel and shall be accompanied by a fee in accordance with Section 33-5-17. (a) Commencing on May 21, 2009, any security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company providing private security services in this state shall apply to the board for a license or certification. Section 34-8-2 Licensure and classification of contractors. Section 3-7A-2 Dogs, cats, and ferrets to be immunized; sale, etc., of vaccine; vaccination exemptions. (a) Every owner of a dog, cat, or ferret required to be immunized for rabies as defined in this chapter, shall cause the animal to be immunized by the rabies officer, his or her authorized representative, or any duly licensed veterinarian, when the animal reaches three months of age and subsequently in accordance with the intervals specified in the vaccine's license. Notwithstanding the above, the State Board of Health may establish by rule vaccine intervals or specific vaccines, or both, to be used in public rabies vaccination clinics, based on considerations such as county specific prevalence of animal rabies or risk of animal rabies and the vaccination rates of dogs, cats, and ferrets in a county. (a) Any person, including a motor vehicle dealer, acquiring a new or used motor vehicle may be granted a grace period of 20 calendar days from date of acquisition to procure a license tag or plate.
