Section 45-49-101.01 Definitions. The following definitions and provisions shall apply
to this part: (1) BOARD. A county or city board of education, or the governing body of a school
system located in Mobile County. (2) COURT. A district court located in Mobile County if a
school bus violation occurs in an unincorporated area, or a municipal court located in Mobile
County if a violation occurs in an incorporated municipality. (3) ELECTRONIC DEVICE. Any camera
or recording device that uses a vehicle sensor and camera synchronized to automatically record
by video, photograph, or full motion streaming video, a motor vehicle approaching or overtaking
a school bus that is stopped for the purpose of receiving or discharging school children in

Section 15-20A-11 Adult sex offender - Prohibited residence locations, etc. (a) No adult
sex offender shall establish a residence or maintain a residence after release or conviction
within 2,000 feet of the property on which any school, childcare facility, or resident camp
facility is located unless otherwise exempted pursuant to Sections 15-20A-23 and 15-20A-24.
For the purposes of this section, a resident camp facility includes any place, area,
parcel, or tract of land which contains permanent or semi-permanent facilities for sleeping
owned by a business, church, or nonprofit organization used primarily for educational, recreational,
or religious purposes for minors and the location of the resident camp has been provided to
local law enforcement. Resident camp does not include a private residence, farm, or hunting

Section 45-49-101.04 Notice of violation; destruction of images and information. (a)
After review of the violation by law enforcement, any county or municipal governing body or
law enforcement office located in Mobile County operating an electronic device shall send
the owner of a vehicle, that has been detected by the device as being involved in a school
bus violation, a notice of violation by U.S. mail. If there is more than one owner, the notice
may be issued to the first person listed on the title or other evidence of ownership, or jointly
to all listed owners. (b) The notice of violation shall include, at a minimum, each of the
following items of information: (1) The name and address of the person alleged to be liable
as the owner of the motor vehicle involved in the violation. (2) The license tag number of

Except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with law or the
directions of a police officer or official traffic-control device, no person shall: (1) Stop,

Section 28-11-19 Limitations on location of retail businesses. (a) Beginning January
1, 2020, a county may not issue a license to conduct business as a specialty retailer of electronic
