Section 22-19-161 Definitions. In this article: (1) "Adult" means an individual who is at least 18 years of age. (2) "Agent" means an individual: (A) authorized to make health care decisions on the principal's behalf by a power of attorney for health care; or (B) expressly authorized to make an anatomical gift on the principal's behalf by any other record signed by the principal. (3) "Anatomical gift" means a donation of all or part of a human body to take effect after the donor's death for the purpose of transplantation, therapy, research, or education. (4) "Coroner" means an elected or appointed official who determines, with the assistance of other forensic scientists and investigators, the cause, manner, and circumstances surrounding death. (5) "Decedent" means a deceased individual whose body or part is or may be the source of an anatomical gift. Every person who desires to practice pharmacy within this state shall file with the secretary of the board his or her written application for licensure upon forms furnished by the board not less than 10 days prior to his or her examination. She began a crusade her senior year of high school in 2004 to end the silence and shame around sexual abuse. Erin's Law has been adopted in a number of states to help address the problem of child sexual abuse. (2) The intent of Erin's Law is to shatter the silence and stigma around child sexual abuse, and to educate children and empower them to recognize and to report abuse. (a)(1) The department may require the adoptive parent or parents to submit a report, annually or at a time or times specified in the agreement or when the department is investigating an allegation of improperly received benefits. Section 32-5A-191.4 Ignition interlock devices. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191, the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02. (b) The ignition interlock device shall be installed, calibrated, and monitored directly by trained technicians who shall train the offender for whom the device is being installed in the proper use of the device.
