Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a) The purpose of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control over regulation and policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in order to ensure that such regulation and policy is applied uniformly throughout this state to each person subject to the state's jurisdiction and to ensure protection of the right to keep and bear arms recognized by the Constitutions of the State of Alabama and the United States. This section is to be liberally construed to accomplish its purpose. (b) For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) AMMUNITION. Fixed cartridge ammunition, shotgun shells, the individual components of fixed cartridge ammunition and shotgun shells, projectiles for muzzle-loading firearms, and any propellant used in firearms or ammunition. (a) After review of the violation by law enforcement, any county or municipal governing body or law enforcement office located in Mobile County operating an electronic device shall send the owner of a vehicle, that has been detected by the device as being involved in a school bus violation, a notice of violation by U.S. mail. If there is more than one owner, the notice may be issued to the first person listed on the title or other evidence of ownership, or jointly to all listed owners. Section 5-17-55 Credit Union Board created; composition; appeals. (a) There shall be a Credit Union Board of the Alabama Credit Union Administration which shall consist of the administrator, who shall be an ex officio member and chair of the board, and seven other persons, appointed by the Governor, by and with the consent of the Senate. Four of these persons shall be appointed from a list of nominees submitted by the Credit Union Board of the Alabama Credit Union Administration, in consultation with the League of Southeastern Credit Union or its successor organization, which shall submit not less than three nominees for any vacancy.
