Section 32-5-2 Regulation of use of real property by owner; owner to erect and maintain traffic-control devices. Nothing in this chapter shall be so construed as to prevent the owner of real property used in public for purposes of vehicular travel by permission of the owner and not as matter of right, from prohibiting such use nor from requiring other or different or additional conditions than those specified in this chapter or otherwise regulating such use as may seem best to such owner. Section 32-5-1 Powers of local authorities. Section 32-5A-36 Display of unauthorized signs, signals, or markings as public nuisance; signs, markings, etc., to be approved; procedure for approval. (a) No person shall place, maintain, or display upon or in view of any highway any unauthorized sign, signal, marking, or device which purports to be or is an imitation of or resembles an official traffic-control device or railroad sign or signal, or which attempts to direct the movement of traffic, or which hides from view or interferes with the effectiveness of an official traffic-control device or any railroad sign or signal. Section 32-5A-191.4 Ignition interlock devices. (a) As used in Section 32-5A-191, the term, "ignition interlock device" means a constant monitoring device that prevents a motor vehicle from being started at any time without first determining the equivalent blood alcohol level of the operator through the taking of a breath sample for testing. The system shall be calibrated so that the motor vehicle may not be started if the blood alcohol level of the operator, as measured by the test, reaches a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.02. (b) The ignition interlock device shall be installed, calibrated, and monitored directly by trained technicians who shall train the offender for whom the device is being installed in the proper use of the device.
