Section 29-2A-5 Material to be provided to commission; grant funds. (a) Any department, agency,
institution, and establishment of the executive branch of government and regulatory agency
or regulatory commission of the state, excluding entities that do not receive a direct appropriation
from the state General Fund or the Education Trust Fund, shall furnish to the commission any
available material, subject to the restrictions and limitations of federal law or regulations
limiting the sharing of personally identifying information, which the commission determines
to be necessary in the performance of the duties and functions of the commission. (b) Any

Section 32-5-64 Persons under 16 years of age operating motor vehicles - Prohibited; driver
training programs. Any person under the age of 16 years who shall drive or operate any motor
vehicle upon the public highways of this state shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall
be dealt with as provided by the juvenile laws of this state. This section shall not apply
to any student enrolled in a driver training program approved by the State Superintendent
of Education or the Director of Public Safety while driving or operating a motor vehicle pursuant
to the instructional program. However, no student in any driver training program who is under
16 years of age shall drive or operate any motor vehicle unless accompanied by a licensed

Section 40-1-46 Payment to certain certified appraisers, mappers, or tax administrators. (a)
Any appraiser, mapper, or tax administrator who successfully completes the Department of Revenue
Professional Education and Training Program, and is awarded the designation "Alabama
Certified Appraiser," "Alabama Certified Mapper" or "Alabama Certified
Tax Administrator" shall be paid the amount of $1,200 annually by the Department of Revenue
for his or her professional achievement. (b) The department shall make such payment to a certified
appraiser, mapper, or tax administrator while such individual is in the employment of the
county, in the ad valorem tax field. Each individual is limited to payment for one certification.
The department shall make the payments from the funds now appropriated under the provisions

Section 45-19-82.02 Driver's license issuance fee; Driver's Licensing Fund. In addition to
all other charges, costs, taxes, or fees levied on the issuance of all driver's licenses,
the Coosa County Commission may provide for an additional issuance fee of one dollar ($1)
to be assessed and collected on all driver's licenses issued and renewed in the county. All
funds received from the fees authorized by this section shall be deposited in a special fund
entitled the "Driver's Licensing Fund" and disbursed at the sole discretion of the

Corrections may establish a program designed to increase correctional officer hiring and retention
by offering bonuses or training incentives, or a combination of both, to employees in specified

allocate to the State Board of Education, the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Institute for

In the event that in any fiscal year prior to the complete expansion of the ASIM Program,
grant funds are received as funding support for the ASIM Program, the State Superintendent
