Section 45-37-243.02 Levy of tax. (a) As used in this section, the following terms have the
meanings here given them: (1) COUNTY. Any county now or hereafter subject to this subpart.
(2) COUNTY GOVERNING BODY. The county board of revenue, the county commission, or other like
body of the county. (3) DIRECTOR OF COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE. The director of the county
department of revenue, the license commissioner, or judge of probate of the county, or any
other public officer performing like duties in the county. (4) SECTION 3 AS AMENDED IN 1979.

Section 5-25-9 Maintenance and examination of records, etc. (a) Any person required to be licensed
under this chapter shall maintain in its offices or such other location as the department
shall permit the books, accounts, and records as the department may reasonably require in
order to determine whether the person is complying with this chapter and rules and regulations
adopted pursuant to this chapter. These books, accounts, and records shall be maintained apart
and separate from any other business in which the person is involved. (b) The department may,
by its designated officers and employees, as often as it deems necessary, but at least once

Section 5-17-60 Confidentiality of conditions and affairs of credit unions; disclosures. (a)
Except as otherwise provided in this title or under state or federal law, the administrator,

Section 25-5-57 Compensation for disability. (a) Compensation schedule. Following is the schedule
of compensation: (1) TEMPORARY TOTAL DISABILITY. For injury producing temporary total disability,
the compensation shall be 66 2/3 percent of the average weekly earnings received at the time
of injury, subject to a maximum and minimum weekly compensation as stated in Section 25-5-68,
but if at the time of injury the employee received average weekly earnings of less than the
minimum stated in Section 25-5-68, then he or she shall receive the full amount of the average
weekly earnings per week. This compensation shall be paid during the time of the disability,
but at the time as a temporary total disability shall become permanent, compensation for the
continued total disability shall be governed by (a)(4) of this section with respect to permanent

Section 34-21-25 Denial, suspension, or revocation of license; administrative fines; voluntary
disciplinary alternative program. (a) For disciplinary purposes, the board may adopt, levy,
and collect administrative fines not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) per violation

Section 45-37-244.01 Automobile rental tax. (a) In Jefferson County, in addition to all other
taxes imposed by law, there is hereby levied an additional privilege or license tax, in the
amount hereinafter prescribed against any person, organization, or other entity engaging or
continuing in the county in the business of leasing or renting any passenger automotive vehicle,
the duration of the lease being not more than one year. The amount of the taxes levied by
this section shall be equal to three percent of the gross proceeds derived by the lessor from
the lease or rental of such passenger automotive vehicle for not more than one year. The taxes

Section 45-24-20.02 Levy of tax; disposition of funds; collection; records. (a) This section
shall only apply to Dallas County. (b) For purposes of this section, the term liquor shall
have the same meaning as ascribed to the term in subdivision (15) of Section 28-3-1. (c)(1)

Jefferson County. (b) As used in this section, state sales tax means the tax imposed by the
state sales and use tax statutes, including, but not limited to, Sections 40-23-1, 40-23-2,
