Section 45-48-70.55 Final budget. (a) Within a reasonable time after the invitation for questions
and comments on the tentative budget as provided for in Section 45-48-70.54, but before September
30, the commission shall adopt and approve a final budget for the ensuing fiscal year which
budget may not thereafter be amended or revised except by a majority vote of the entire commission.
The budget may not provide for a deficit. (b) The expenditures of no commissioner, office,
department, board, institution, commission, or agency shall exceed the amount originally provided
for in the final budget unless the same be amended or revised to provide for such expenditure
as herein provided. Any officer of the county or department official, including the chair
of the county commission, any associate county commissioner, sheriff, coroner, tax assessor,
tax collector, or judge of probate, who willfully violates any of the provisions of this budget

Section 45-49-150.13 Effect of revocation. (a) A bingo permit holder whose bingo permit is
revoked in consequence of a violation of this part or rule promulgated under this part is
ineligible to apply for a bingo permit for a period of 12 months after the date of the revocation.
(b) A person convicted of an offense under Section 45-49-150.14 or any other gambling offense
is ineligible to serve as an officer in any organization having a bingo permit or be a bingo
permit holder or to participate in conducting bingo for a period of 12 months after the conviction
becomes final. If a person violates this subsection, the organization or person shall forfeit
the bingo permit and is ineligible to apply for the issuance or reissuance of the bingo permit
for a period of 12 months thereafter. (c) The bingo permit holder shall return the bingo permit

Section 11-43-210 Reserve law enforcement officers; appointment by city or town; qualifications;
powers. (a) The appointing authority of any city or town in the State of Alabama may appoint,
with or without compensation, one or more reserve law enforcement officers to assist or aid

Section 32-6-253.1 Removable windshield placard; unauthorized use of parking places. (a) Any
person who submits to the Department of Veterans Affairs an application which includes satisfactory
proof that he or she meets the military service and award requirements to be issued a license
plate authorized by Section 32-6-250, shall be issued a removable windshield placard displaying
the appropriate military honor or veteran status. The application shall be on a form approved
by the Department of Veterans Affairs. There shall be no fee for the removable windshield
placard. (b) The removable windshield placard shall be prepared by the Department of Veterans
