Section 11-50-340 Definitions. As used in this article, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings unless the context shall indicate another meaning or intent: (1) CITY. Any incorporated city in the State of Alabama. (2) COUNCIL. The city council, city commission, or other board or body in which the general legislative powers of a city shall be vested. (3) BOARD. A board of water and sewer commissioners created under the provisions of Section 11-50-341 or, if any such board shall be abolished, the board, body, or commission succeeding to the principal functions thereof or to which the powers given by this article to such board shall be given by law. Section 23-1-413 Permit procedures. (a) The department shall establish procedures for submitting applications and issuing permits. (b)(1) The department shall produce and, from time to time, modify and update the forms on which the applications for a permit shall be made. (2) The filing fee assessed by the department shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500) per application. Any number of structures or a group of structures may be included in a single application so long as they are part of a single project. Section 25-12-15 Inspection report; maintenance of records; inspection certificate. (a) Each company employing special inspectors, within 30 days following each certificate inspection made by the inspectors, shall file a report of the inspection with the chief inspector upon appropriate forms as promulgated by the secretary.
