Section 27-4A-3 Generally. (a) Subject to the exceptions and exemptions hereinafter set forth, for the year beginning on January 1, 1995, and for each year thereafter, every insurer shall pay to the commissioner a premium tax equal to the percentage, as set out in this subsection, of the premiums received by the insurer for business done in this state, whether the same was actually received by the insurer in this state or elsewhere: (1) PREMIUM TAX ON LIFE INSURANCE PREMIUMS. a. (a) The State Department of Health, hereinafter referred to as "the department," shall establish, promote, and maintain an osteoporosis prevention and treatment education program in order to raise public awareness, educate consumers, educate and train health professionals, teachers, and human service providers, and for other purposes. Section 22-30-5.1 Restriction on number of commercial hazardous waste treatment facilities or disposal sites per county; legislative approval of sites. (a) The term "hazardous waste" shall mean the same as defined by Section 22-30-3(5). Section 36-7-20 Allowances for expenses other than transportation of persons traveling within state. (a) Except as otherwise provided in Section 36-7-21, the amount allowable to a person traveling inside the State of Alabama in the service of the state or any of its departments, institutions, boards, bureaus, commissions, councils, committees, or other like agencies for expenses other than transportation may be fixed by the Governor at not less than seventy-five dollars ($75) per day, and this amount shall be uniform in operation as to all persons traveling within the state on official business.
