Section 31-8-26 Unauthorized purchase or receipt of transfer of pension claim or warrant.
Any person who shall purchase or receive a transfer of any pension claim or warrant issued
or to be issued under the pension laws for the relief of needy widows of Confederate soldiers
or sailors before the same is received by the county department of human resources, except
as otherwise provided by law, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, on conviction, shall

Section 13A-9-150 Public assistance fraud; penalties. (a) For the purposes of this section,
public assistance means money or property provided directly or indirectly to eligible persons
through programs of the federal government, the state, or any political subdivision thereof,

(a) Any person who manufactures, sells, transfers, receives, or possesses a listed precursor
chemical violates this article if the person: (1) Knowingly fails to comply with the reporting
requirements of this article; (2) Knowingly makes a false statement in a report or record
required by this article or the rules adopted thereunder; (3) Is required by this article
to have a listed precursor chemical license or permit, and is a person as defined by this
