Section 45-49-91.11 Contracting powers; finances. The board may contract with county or city planners, engineers, architects, attorneys, and other public or private consultants and with any local, regional, state, or federal agency for the services as it may require. The board may cooperate with and accept funds from federal, state, and local public or semipublic agencies, private individuals, or corporations, and may expend funds, and may carry out cooperative undertakings and contracts for planning studies necessary in the performance of its duties. The expenditures of the board, exclusive of gifts, grants, or contract receipts, shall be within the amounts appropriated for the purpose by the county governing body and generated by this part. There is hereby established a separate special revenue trust fund in the State Treasury to be known as the Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators Fund. Section 14-6-47 Prisoner Feeding Fund; forms for records; disposition of funds. (a) The Prisoner Feeding Fund is established in the office of each sheriff. Except as provided in subsection (b), all monies received in the sheriff's office for food and services in preparing food, serving food, and other services incident to the feeding of prisoners in the county jail pursuant to this chapter, shall be deposited in the Prisoner Feeding Fund and shall be kept separate from all other monies. (a) At the request of the certified organization, the board shall authorize a referendum among cotton growers upon the question of whether an assessment shall be levied upon cotton growers in the state to offset, in whole or in part, the cost of boll weevil or other cotton pest suppression or eradication programs authorized by this article or by any other law of this state. (b) The assessment levied under this article shall be based upon the number of acres of cotton planted.
