Section 31-13-3 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) ALIEN. Any person who is not a citizen or national of the United States, as described in 8 U.S.C. ยง 1101, et seq., and any amendments thereto. (2) BUSINESS ENTITY. Any person or group of persons employing one or more persons performing or engaging in any activity, enterprise, profession, or occupation for gain, benefit, advantage, or livelihood, whether for profit or not for profit. Business entity shall include, but not be limited to, the following: a. Section 12-15-134 Maintenance and inspection of law enforcement records. (a) Law enforcement agencies shall take special precautions to ensure that law enforcement records and files concerning a child will be maintained in a manner and pursuant to those safeguards that will protect against disclosure to any unauthorized person, department, agency, or entity. Unless a charge of delinquency is transferred for criminal prosecution pursuant to Section 12-15-203 or the juvenile court otherwise orders in the interests of the child or of national security, the law enforcement records and files with respect to the child shall not be open to public inspection nor their contents disclosed to the public. Section 15-20A-34 Juvenile sex offender - Relief from lifetime registration requirements. (a) A juvenile sex offender subject to lifetime registration pursuant to Section 15-20A-28 may file a petition requesting the sentencing juvenile court to enter an order relieving the juvenile sex offender of the requirements pursuant to this chapter 25 years after the juvenile sex offender is released from the custody of the Department of Youth Services or sentenced, if the juvenile sex offender was placed on probation, for the sex offense requiring registration pursuant to this chapter. (a) Documents and evidence provided pursuant to Section 27-12A-21 or obtained by the department in an investigation of suspected or actual insurance fraud shall be privileged and confidential, shall not be a public record, and shall not be subject to discovery or subpoena in a civil or criminal action. Section 45-27A-30.05 Program requirements; records. (a) An offender who enters into the pretrial diversion program shall satisfy each of the following requirements: (1) Voluntarily waive, in writing, and contingent upon the successful completion of the program, his or her right to a speedy trial.
