Section 30-9-2 Establishment of domestic violence fatality review teams; confidentiality of information. (a) A statewide domestic violence fatality review team shall be established to review fatal and near-fatal incidents of domestic violence, related domestic violence matters, and suicides. Additional teams at the local and regional levels may be established as well in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies, the local domestic violence center, and local judicial officers including the court, prosecutor, and public defender. Teams established at the local and regional levels shall be chaired by the district attorney of that particular jurisdiction. The membership of a domestic violence fatality review team shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state. Section 22-35-4 Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund. There is hereby created the Alabama Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund, hereinafter referred to as the "fund," to be administered by the Secretary-Treasurer of the Retirement Systems of Alabama. The fund shall be used by the department as a revolving fund for carrying out the purposes of this chapter. The fund is not an insurance company and the laws relating to the conduct of business in this state by an insurance company do not apply to the fund. A decision that underground or aboveground storage tanks are ineligible for benefits under the fund does not expose the fund, the director, department, or commission to a claim of bad faith as such terms are used in general insurance law. Section 22-35-9 Administration cost of chapter; annual budgets for administration. (a) Administration cost of all the provisions of this chapter shall be charged to the fund. Annual budgets for administration are to be included as part of the regular department budget, except that the annual budget of the management board shall not be a part of the department budget.
