Section 30-3-193 Requests for information by the state Title IV-D agency. (a) Subject to due process safeguards, including requirements for notice, opportunity to contest the action, and opportunity for an appeal on the record to a judicial tribunal, upon request from the state Title IV-D agency, public and private entities and individuals as specified in this section shall provide information when the state Title IV-D agency has reason to believe that the information provides location information or otherwise assists in the administration of the state's child support enforcement program. The information shall be available only for the purposes prescribed herein. (a) A sex offender may petition at sentencing, or if after sentencing, a sex offender may file a petition in the civil division of the circuit court in the county where the sex offender seeks to accept or maintain employment for relief from the employment restrictions pursuant to subsection (b) of Section 15-20A-13. (a) In any case in which an offender is admitted into a pretrial diversion program, there shall be a written agreement between the district attorney and the offender. The agreement shall include the terms of the pretrial diversion program, the length of the program, and the period of time after which the district attorney will dispose of the charges against the offender in a noncriminal manner.
