Section 30-3B-304 Temporary visitation. (a) A court of this state which does not have
jurisdiction to modify a child custody determination, may issue a temporary order enforcing:
(1) A visitation schedule made by a court of another state; (2) The visitation provisions
of a child custody determination of another state that does not provide for a specific visitation
schedule; or (3) The visitation provision of a child custody determination of another state
by implementing makeup or substitute visitation. (b) If a court of this state makes an order
under subsection (a)(2) or subsection (a)(3), it shall specify in the order a period that
it considers adequate to allow the petitioner to obtain an order from a court having jurisdiction

Section 19-3B-503 Exceptions to spendthrift provision. (a) In this section, "child"
includes any person for whom an order or judgment for child support has been entered in this
or another state. (b) A spendthrift provision is unenforceable against: (1) a beneficiary's
child, spouse, or former spouse who has a judgment or court order against the beneficiary
for support or maintenance; (2) a judgment creditor who has provided services for the protection
of a beneficiary's interest in the trust; and (3) a claim of this state or the United States
to the extent a statute of this state or federal law so provides. (c) A claimant against whom
a spendthrift provision cannot be enforced may obtain from a court an order attaching present

Section 30-3-6.1 Rebate of interest on delinquent child support payments. (a) Notwithstanding
any other provision of law regarding post-judgment interest, the parent responsible for making
child support payments who has been delinquent in making the payments may petition the court
that entered the order for child support or the appropriate court pursuant to Sections 30-3A-101
to 30-3A-906, inclusive, for a rebate of interest when any of the following conditions have
been met: (1) The parent has paid the past due amount and has paid the current child support
payments for 12 months before petitioning the court. (2) The parent has entered into a repayment
agreement, has made all payments on the agreement for at least 12 months, and has paid the

Section 30-3B-109 Appearance and limited immunity. (a) When making a special appearance
a party to a child custody proceeding, including a modification proceeding, or a petitioner
or respondent in a proceeding to enforce or register a child custody determination, is not
subject to personal jurisdiction in this state for another proceeding or purpose solely by
reason of having participated, or of having been physically present for the purpose of participating,

provided in this article, a party who is an individual or a support enforcement agency seeking
recognition of a Convention support order shall register the order in this state as provided
