Section 30-3B-106 Effect of child custody determination. A child custody determination made by a court of this state that had jurisdiction under this chapter binds all persons who have been served in accordance with the laws of this state or notified in accordance with Section 30-3B-108 or who have submitted to the jurisdiction of the court, and who have been given an opportunity to be heard. Section 30-3C-9 Hearing on petition to prevent abduction. (a) If a petition is filed under this chapter, the court may set a preliminary hearing as necessary, and shall cause to be issued all summonses and notices as required by law and otherwise deemed necessary and appropriate.
