(a)(1) When a person claims that a dog is dangerous, the person shall make a sworn statement before a city magistrate or sheriff setting forth the name of the dog owner, if known, the location where the dog is being kept in the city or county, and the reason he or she believes the dog to be dangerous. Section 34-24-173 Rules of evidence in contested cases. In contested cases: (1) The rules of evidence as applied in nonjury civil cases in the circuit courts of this state shall be followed. Section 45-37-123.103 Death benefits. (a) Preretirement death benefits. A vested member's beneficiary is entitled to a preretirement joint survivorship pension, as described below.
