Section 29-2-275 Requested assistance; compensation. The Secretary of the Senate, the Clerk
of the House of Representatives, and any advisory subcommittees shall provide any assistance
as may be necessary at the committee's request. Each legislative member of the committee and
each legislative member of a subcommittee shall be entitled to his or her regular legislative
compensation, his or her per diem, and travel expenses for each day he or she attends a meeting
of the committee or a subcommittee which shall be paid out of any funds appropriated for the
use of the Legislature upon warrants drawn by the Comptroller, upon requisitions signed by
the committee's chair. Legislative members shall not receive additional legislative compensation
or per diem when the Legislature is in session or if a member is being paid any other payments

Section 45-49-110.04 Deputy registrars; monthly meetings; monthly and annual reports. (a) In
Mobile County, in addition to any and all other laws relating to voter registration, there
shall be at least two additional deputy registrars from each ward or precinct in each legislative
House and Senate district within the county, one appointed upon the recommendation of the
senator and one appointed upon the recommendation of the House member from each district.
The only requirement for such deputy registrars, shall be that each is a registered voter
