Section 40-9B-3 Definitions. (a) For purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases mean: (1) ABATE, ABATEMENT. A reduction or elimination of a taxpayer's liability for tax or payments required to be made in lieu thereof. An abatement of transaction taxes imposed under Chapter 23 of this title, or payments required to be made in lieu thereof, shall relieve the seller from the obligation to collect and pay over the transaction tax as if the sale were to a person exempt, to the extent of the abatement, from the transaction tax. (2) ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESOURCES. The definition given in Section 40-18-1. (3) CONSTRUCTION RELATED TRANSACTION TAXES. Section 25-4-78 Disqualifications for benefits. An individual shall be disqualified for total or partial unemployment for any of the following: (1) LABOR DISPUTE IN PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. For any week in which an individual's total or partial unemployment is directly due to a labor dispute still in active progress in the establishment in which he or she is or was last employed. For the purposes of this section only, the term labor dispute includes any controversy concerning terms, tenure, or conditions of employment, or concerning the association or representation of persons in negotiating, fixing, maintaining, changing, or seeking to arrange terms or conditions of employment, regardless of whether the disputants stand in the proximate relation of employer and employee. Section 41-22-6 Designation and duties of agency secretaries; effective dates of rules. (a) Each agency shall have an officer designated as its secretary and shall file in the office of the secretary of the agency a certified copy of each rule adopted by it, including all rules existing on October 1, 1981. Each rule adopted, whether the original or a revision, and all copies thereof, shall have the name or names of the author or authors, respectively, on its face. Section 10A-2A-14.03 Certificate of dissolution. (a) At any time after dissolution is authorized, the corporation may dissolve by delivering to the Secretary of State for filing a certificate of dissolution setting forth: (1) the name of the corporation; (2) the date that dissolution was authorized; (3) if dissolution was approved by the stockholders, a statement that the proposal to dissolve was duly approved by the stockholders in the manner required by this chapter and by the certificate of incorporation; and (4) the unique identifying number or other designation as assigned by the Secretary of State.
