to Amendment 659 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, now appearing as Section 104.01 of
the Official Recompilation of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended, the Gadsden
City Council shall call an authorizing referendum election regarding changing the Gadsden
City Board of Education to an elected city board of education. (b) If a majority of the qualified
electors of the municipality voting in the authorizing referendum election vote in favor of
an elected city board of education, the board shall be established as provided in this subpart
and the Legislature, as provided in Amendment 659, from time to time, by local law may provide

Section 45-8A-23.066 Meetings, passage or ordinances, etc. The council shall hold regular public
meetings as may be prescribed by its own rules, provided that a regular hour and day shall
be fixed by the order of the council, and publicly announced. It may hold such adjourned,

Section 5-17-55 Credit Union Board created; composition; appeals. (a) There shall be a Credit
Union Board of the Alabama Credit Union Administration which shall consist of the administrator,
who shall be an ex officio member and chair of the board, and seven other persons, appointed
by the Governor, by and with the consent of the Senate. Four of these persons shall be appointed
from a list of nominees submitted by the Credit Union Board of the Alabama Credit Union Administration,

Section 11-19-19 County board of adjustment. In availing itself of the powers conferred by
this chapter, the county commission shall provide for the appointment of a board of adjustment
and may provide that the said board of adjustment shall, in appropriate cases and subject

Section 11-46-21 Time of elections; notice; assumption of duties by elected officers. (a) The
regular municipal elections in cities and towns shall be held on the fourth Tuesday in August
1984, and quadrennially thereafter, and, when necessary as provided in subsection (d) of Section

a public body corporate and politic to be known as the Private Colleges and Universities Facilities
Authority and by that name, style and title, said body may contract and be contracted with,

Section 22-11D-7 Designation of trauma care regions; regional trauma advisory councils. (a)
The board shall designate, by rule, trauma care regions, so that all parts of the state are
within such regions. The regional designations shall be made on the basis of efficiency of
delivery of needed trauma care. (b) The board may establish regional trauma advisory councils
as needed. Regional trauma advisory councils shall advise, consult with, and make recommendations
to the council on suggested regional modifications to the statewide trauma system that will
