Section 29-2-161 Eligibility exceptions. (a) A person serving a term of imprisonment
for a crime other than a crime for which the person was wrongfully incarcerated shall not
be eligible to receive compensation pursuant to this article. (b) A person shall not be eligible
to receive compensation pursuant to this article if the sentence for the crime of which the
person was mistakenly convicted was served concurrently with the sentence for the conviction
of another crime. (c) A person shall not be eligible for compensation if he or she was convicted
of any of the acts charged with in conjunction with the charge which resulted in the wrongful
conviction or his or her acts or omissions constituted a felony or misdemeanor against the

Section 20-2-190.2 Electronic drug offender tracking system. (a) For the purposes of
this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) DRUG RELATED
CONVICTION. Any conviction or plea of nolo contendere for the offense of possession, distribution,
trafficking, or any degree of manufacture of controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia.
