Section 29-2-22 Compensation and expenses of members. Each legislative member of the committee
shall be entitled to his or her regular legislative compensation, his or her per diem and
travel expenses incurred within the state for each day he or she attends a meeting of the
committee when the Legislature is not in session or when the Legislature is in recess without
pay. Each legislative member shall further be entitled to actual expenses for travel outside
the State of Alabama which is deemed necessary by the chair and in accordance with the objectives
of the committee. Such sums shall be paid out of any funds appropriated to the use of the
Legislature on warrants drawn on the state Comptroller upon requisition signed by the committee's
