Section 41-29-291 Composition. (a) The Alabama Workforce Council shall consist of the following
members: (1) Fourteen members appointed by the Governor. (2) One member appointed by the Lieutenant

Section 29-1-3 Annual sessions; place of meeting. The Legislature shall meet annually at the
Capitol, in the Senate chamber and in the hall of the House of Representatives, unless at
any time it should, from any cause, become impossible or dangerous for the Legislature to

Section 29-3-6 When designations, removals and changes of successors effective; recordation
thereof in public journal. Each designation of an emergency interim successor shall become
effective when the legislator making the designation files with the Secretary of State the
successor's name, address and rank in order of succession. The removal of an emergency interim
successor or change in order of succession shall become effective when the legislator so acting

Section 29-4-20 Subordinate officers - Secretary of the Senate; Assistant Secretary of the

State Personnel Department shall revise the schedule of rates set forth in the pay plan for

research and distribute funding for research on the study of tick borne illness in Alabama
and to make suggestions for the treatment of and reduction and eradication of tick borne illness
