Section 45-45-244 Authorization; resolution. (a) The Madison County Commission, by resolution
adopted by a simple majority of the entire commission, may do the following: (1) Levy, provide
for the assessment and collection of, and provide penalties for the nonpayment of, in addition
to all other taxes of every kind and nature imposed by law, a privilege or license fee upon
every person, firm, or corporation licensed by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board, engaged
or continuing within the unincorporated areas of Madison County in the business of selling
liquor as that term is defined in subdivision (15) of Section 28-3-1, of alcoholic drinks
containing liquor, including all ingredients which are made a part of such drinks, for on-premises
consumption in an amount equal to 12 percent of gross receipts or gross sales from that part

Section 34-23-11 Physicians, dentists, registered nurses, etc., exempt from chapter. (a) Nothing
contained in this chapter shall prevent any licensed practitioner of the healing arts from

(a) This section shall apply to the regulation of the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages
in the City of Prattville in Autauga County and Elmore County. (b) The city council, by resolution
or ordinance, may authorize the sale and distribution of draft beer by retail licensees of
the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. Authorization shall include the sale of draft beer for

Section 45-45A-40 Regulation and sale of alcoholic beverages. (a) Except as provided in this
section, in order to provide for additional local control and regulation of the sale of alcoholic
beverages in areas of the City of Madison located within Madison County, in addition to all
other power and authority granted by state law, the governing body of the City of Madison

Section 20-2-182 License required for furnishing listed precursor chemical; licensing procedure;
record of transactions. (a) A manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer, or other person who sells,
transfers, manufactures, purchases for resale, or otherwise furnishes any listed precursor
chemical defined in Section 20-2-181 must first obtain on a biennial basis a license issued
by the Board of Pharmacy upon payment of a fee as prescribed by rule of the board to the secretary
of the board. Licenses shall be issued biennially beginning in 2010. All licenses shall expire
on December 31 of even-numbered years. Every holder of such a license in order to continue
to be licensed shall pay a biennial renewal fee to be prescribed by rule of the board. The
renewal fee shall be due on October 31 and shall be delinquent after December 31 of even-numbered
