Section 28-5-2 Authorization and procedure generally for granting of permits for operation of alcohol distilleries and denaturing plants in connection with sugar refineries. When used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) INDUSTRIAL ALCOHOL. (a)(1) The State Board of Medical Examiners on its own motion may investigate any evidence which appears to show that a physician or osteopath holding a certificate of qualification to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Alabama is or may be guilty of any of the acts, offenses, or conditions set out in Section 34-24-360. (a) The Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries shall promptly notify any person applying for a permit to operate a public warehouse whether or not such application has been granted.
