Section 33-17-6 Members, officers and directors; records of proceedings. The applicants named in the application and their respective successors in office shall constitute the members of the authority. The Governor shall be the president of the authority, the Lieutenant Governor shall be its vice-president, and the Director of Finance shall be its secretary. The State Treasurer shall be the treasurer of the authority and shall act as custodian of its funds, but he shall not be a member of the authority. The members of the authority shall constitute all the members of the board of directors of the authority, and any four members of the board of directors shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. Section 33-5-75 Authority of Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources to cancel certification or to suspend or revoke privilege of operating vessel; procedures. (a) The Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources may cancel any boater safety certification upon determining that the holder of the certification was not entitled to the issuance or that the holder failed to give the correct or required information in the application for certification. (a) In Jefferson County, in addition to all other taxes imposed by law, there is hereby levied an additional privilege or license tax, in the amount hereinafter prescribed against any person, organization, or other entity engaging or continuing in the county in the business of leasing or renting any passenger automotive vehicle, the duration of the lease being not more than one year.
