Section 20-2-64 Denial of application. The board may deny an application of an assistant to physician requesting a Qualified Alabama Controlled Substances Registration Certificate, deny a request for a renewal of a QACSC, or initiate disciplinary action against an assistant to physician possessing a Qualified Alabama Controlled Substances Registration Certificate based on the following grounds: (1) Fraud or deceit in applying for, procuring, or attempting to procure a Qualified Alabama Controlled Substances Registration Certificate in the State of Alabama. Section 26-23E-3 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ABORTION. The use or prescription of any instrument, medicine, drug, or any other substance or device with the intent to terminate the pregnancy of a woman known to be pregnant with knowledge that the termination by those means will with reasonable likelihood cause the death of the unborn child. (a) No person shall practice dentistry or dental hygiene in the State of Alabama unless licensed or permitted by the board and registered annually as required by this chapter. (a) Service contracts sold or offered for sale in this state, in their entirety, shall be written, printed, or typed in eight point type size, or larger, and shall comply with the requirements set forth in this section, as applicable.
