Section 38-7-3 License to operate or conduct child-care facility - Requirements; recordkeeping;
parental notifications, etc.; affidavits; inspections and investigations. (a) No person, group
of persons, or corporation may operate or conduct any facility for child care, as defined
in this chapter, without being licensed or approved as provided in this chapter. (b)(1) Except
as provided in subdivision (2), the licensure requirements of this chapter do not apply to
a child-care facility that is operating as an integral part of a local church ministry or
a religious nonprofit school, and is so recognized in the church or school's documents, whether
operated separately or as a part of a religious nonprofit school unit, secondary school unit,

Section 28-3A-24 Suspension or revocation of licenses; appointment of hearing commission;
notice, hearing and findings; fines. (a) The board shall have full and final authority as
to the suspension or revocation of any license issued under this chapter and to levy a fine

Section 34-41-12 Issuance of license. (a) Upon payment of a license fee the board shall
issue a biennial license to any applicant who has satisfactorily met all the requirements
of this chapter. Licenses shall show the full name of the licensee, give a serial number,
and shall be signed by both the chair and secretary-treasurer of the board under the seal
of the board. The issuance of a license by the board shall be prima facie evidence that the
person named therein is entitled to all the rights and privileges of a licensed professional
