Section 6-5-772 Liability for use of indicia of identity without consent. (a) Except as otherwise
provided in this article, any person or entity who uses or causes the use of the indicia of
identity of a person, on or in products, goods, merchandise, or services entered into commerce
in this state, or for purposes of advertising or selling, or soliciting purchases of, products,
goods, merchandise, or services, or for purposes of fund-raising or solicitation of donations,
or for false endorsement, without consent shall be liable under this article to that person,

Section 40-1-1 Definitions. For purposes of this title, and subject to additional definitions
which are applicable to specific chapters or parts thereof, and unless the context otherwise
requires, the following terms shall have the respective meanings ascribed by this section:

Section 5-19A-15 No confiscation of property pledged to pawnbroker if property may be put on
seven-day hold; when property may be placed on hold. (a) No pledged or purchased goods may
be confiscated if the property pledged to, or purchased by, a pawnbroker may be put on a seven-day
hold by the authorized law enforcement authorities, but the pledged or purchased property
may not be placed on hold unless: (1) A police report is made in a timely manner. (2) A warrant
is sworn out for the person who pledged or sold the goods to the pawnbroker or for alias if

Section 7-7-305 Destination bills. (a) Instead of issuing a bill of lading to the consignor
at the place of shipment, a carrier, at the request of the consignor, may procure the bill

Section 45-8-22 Special licenses; additional taxes; maintenance of records. (a) It shall be
unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, other than the state Alcoholic Beverage Control
Board, to sell at retail in Calhoun County any spirituous or vinous liquors without first
obtaining a special license from the judge of probate that shall be in addition to all other
licenses required by law. The amount of the special license shall be determined by the county
commission and shall be levied in the same manner as other county licenses are levied. Licenses
required by this subsection shall expire on September 30th following the date of purchase.
