Section 11-65-10 Powers and duties of commission. When authorized by one or more elections as provided in Section 11-65-4, a commission shall have the powers and duties necessary to license, regulate, and supervise horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon and greyhound racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon within the commission municipal jurisdiction, including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the powers and duties hereinafter set forth in this section or in other sections of this chapter. (1) A commission shall have succession in perpetuity, subject only to the provisions of this chapter as it may be amended from time to time. Section 28-3-9 Wholesalers and distributors to file monthly reports of alcoholic beverages purchased or received. Each and every wholesaler or distributor qualifying as such with the board shall be required to file a report between the first and tenth of each month, covering the purchase or receipt by them of all alcoholic beverages enumerated and defined in this chapter during the preceding month.
