Section 28-10-8 License fee. There is hereby imposed on each licensee of the board who is licensed and applies for certification as a responsible vendor for the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-the-premises consumption and/or off-the-premises consumption a fee of $35.00 payable upon the issuance or renewal of such license. This amount is appropriated in addition to the general appropriation for the ABC Board. Any unexpended sums remaining at the end of the fiscal year shall not revert to the General Fund, but shall continue to be preserved for the administration of the program. (a) The annual fee may be increased or decreased by the board, provided, the board shall not set an annual fee at an amount which would not provide sufficient revenues to pay all the costs and expenses incurred by the board in enforcing this chapter.
