Section 28-3A-20.3 On-premises licensees authorized to make, store, and sell infused products made from distilled spirits. (a) An on-premises retail licensee may make, store, and sell infusions for on-premises consumption. (b) As used in this section, infusion means an alcoholic beverage that is created by combining or mixing one distilled spirit with nonalcoholic food products and is not intended for immediate consumption. A nonalcoholic food product includes the following: Spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables, candy, or other substances intended for human consumption, provided that no additional fermentation occurs and none of the additives contain any additional alcohol. (c) Any retail on-premises licensee intending to produce, store, or sell infusions shall provide written notification to the board of that intent. Section 40-25-16 Persons not qualifying as wholesalers or jobbers; permit for wholesalers or jobbers; revocation procedure. No person, firm, corporation, association, or copartnership operating more than one retail store or mercantile establishment within this state under the same ownership, supervision, or management, or operating a wholesale and retail business under the same roof, shall be included within the meaning of the words "wholesaler or jobber," as the same are used in this article. This provision is made in the exercise of the police power of the state, as well as for the purpose of raising revenue. Section 13A-12-340 Manufacture, sale, use, etc., of synthetic urine or urine additive. (a) As used in this section, the following terms have the following meanings: (1) DEFRAUD. A misrepresentation of a material fact made willfully to deceive or with reckless disregard as to its truth or falsity. (2) SYNTHETIC URINE. A substance that is designed to simulate the composition, chemical properties, physical appearance, or physical properties of human urine. (3) URINE ADDITIVE. A substance that is designed to be added to human urine. (b)(1) No person shall knowingly manufacture, market, sell, distribute, use, or possess synthetic urine or a urine additive to defraud an alcohol, drug, or urine screening test. Section 11-43-250 Elected official of Class 8 municipality authorized to appoint designee to serve on state or local agency, board, etc. (a) In Class 8 municipalities, an elected official of the municipality who is an ex officio member of a state or local agency, board, commission, or other entity pursuant to law, may designate a person to serve in his or her place, who shall assume all duties of the elected official relating to the entity, including all voting rights and who shall be counted as a member for the purpose of conducting business. (a) Every pharmacy when opened for business shall be under the personal supervision of a duly licensed pharmacist who shall have personal supervision of not more than one pharmacy at the same time. During temporary absences of the licensed pharmacist, not to exceed three hours daily or more than one and one-half hours at any one time, nor more than one week for temporary illness, the prescription department shall be closed, and no prescriptions are to be filled.
