Section 22-14-3 Purpose of article. It is the purpose of this article to effectuate the policies set forth in Section 22-14-2 by providing for: (1) A program of effective regulation of sources of ionizing radiation and machines and devices producing ionizing radiation for the protection of the occupational and public health and safety; (2) A program to promote an orderly regulatory pattern within the state, among the states and between the Federal Government and the state and to facilitate intergovernmental cooperation with respect to use and regulation of sources of ionizing radiation to the end that duplication of regulation may be minimized; (3) A program to establish procedures for assumption and performance of certain regulatory responsibilities with respect to by-product, source and special nuclear materials; and (4) A program to permit maximum utilization of sources of ionizing radiation consistent with the health and safety of the public. (a) In this section: (1) "Advanced fraction" means a fraction that has as its numerator the amount of the advanced tax and as its denominator the value of the interests in insulated property to which that tax is attributable. Section 45-8-150 Definitions. For purposes of this article the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) BINGO. The game commonly known as bingo, which is a game of chance played with cards printed with five rows of five squares each.
