Section 8-7A-20 Criminal penalties. (a) A person that intentionally makes a false statement, misrepresentation, or false certification in a record filed or required to be maintained under this chapter or that intentionally makes a false entry or omits a material entry in such a record, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a Class D felony. (b) A person that knowingly engages in an activity for which a license is required under this chapter without being licensed under this chapter and who receives more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) in compensation within a one-year period from this activity, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a Class C felony. Section 34-27-61 Hearing; refusal, suspension, or revocation of license; willful violation defined; escrow deficiency. The commission may upon its own motion, or upon the verified complaint in writing of any person, hold a hearing regarding an alleged violation by any person or business entity of this article. Section 32-5A-195 Cancellation, suspension, or revocation of driver's license; grounds, procedure, etc. (a) The Secretary of the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is authorized to cancel any driver's license upon determining that the licensee was not entitled to the issuance thereof or that the licensee failed to give the correct or required information in his or her application.
