Section 9-16-90 Environmental protection performance standards. (a) Any permit issued pursuant to this article to conduct surface mining operations shall require that such surface coal mining operations will meet all applicable performance standards of this article, and such other requirements as the regulatory authority shall promulgate. (b) General performance standards shall be applicable to all surface coal mining and reclamation operations and shall require the operation as a minimum to: (1) Conduct surface coal mining operations so as to maximize the utilization and conservation of the solid fuel resource being recovered so that reaffecting the land in the future through surface coal mining can be minimized; (2) Restore the land affected to a condition capable of supporting the uses which it was capable of supporting prior to any mining, or higher or better uses of which there is reasonable likelihood, so long as such use or uses do not present any actual or probable hazard to...

Section 8-32-5 Required provisions, service contracts. (a) Service contracts sold or offered for sale in this state, in their entirety, shall be written, printed, or typed in eight point type size, or larger, and shall comply with the requirements set forth in this section, as applicable. (b) Service contracts insured under a reimbursement insurance policy pursuant to subdivision (1) of subsection (f) of Section 8-32-3 shall contain a statement in substantially the following form: "Obligations of the provider under this service contract are guaranteed under a service contract reimbursement insurance policy." Section 22-30D-5 Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund. (a) There is hereby created the Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund, hereinafter referred to as the "fund." The fund as so created shall be administered and used by the board as a drycleaning industry self-insurance program for the benefit of those persons electing to be covered by this chapter within the time(s) specified in accordance with the provision of this chapter and as a revolving fund for carrying out the purposes of this chapter. To the fund shall be credited all registration fees collected by the Department of Revenue, which monies shall be credited to the fund pursuant to this chapter and invested as permitted by law by the State Treasurer for the benefit of the fund.
