Section 45-39-245.06 Collection and enforcement. (a) Unless otherwise authorized and directed by the governing body of Lauderdale County as provided in subsection (b), the taxes herein levied shall be collected by and paid to the Judge of Probate of Lauderdale County in his or her official capacity. (a) No person, acting directly or indirectly or through or in concert with one or more persons, may acquire control of a state bank or of any corporation or other entity having control of a state bank, unless an application is filed with the superintendent for review of the proposed transaction and for his or her action, if any, as provided in this section. Section 27-27-17 Domestic mutual insurers - Solicitation of qualifying applications for insurance. (a) The commissioner may contract with non-governmental entities, including NAIC, to perform any ministerial functions, including the collection of fees and data, related to licensing that the commissioner may deem appropriate.
