Section 7-9A-102 Definitions and index of definitions. (a) Article 9A definitions. In this article: (1) "Accession" means goods that are physically united with other goods in such a manner that the identity of the original goods is not lost. Section 27-21A-15 Powers of insurers and health care service plans. (a) An insurance company licensed in this state, or a health care service plan authorized to do business in this state, may either directly or through a subsidiary or affiliate organize and operate a health maintenance organization under the provisions of this chapter. Section 27-21A-7 Evidence of coverage and charges for health care services. (a)(1) Every enrollee residing in this state is entitled to an evidence of coverage. If the enrollee obtains such coverage through an insurance policy or a contract issued by a health care service plan, the insurer or the health care service plan shall issue the evidence of coverage. Otherwise, the health maintenance organization shall issue the evidence of coverage.
