Section 27-1-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this title, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section. (1) INSURANCE. A contract whereby one undertakes to indemnify another or pay or provide a specified amount or benefit upon determinable contingencies. (2) INSURER. Every person engaged as indemnitor, surety, or contractor in the business of entering into contracts of insurance. (3) PERSON. An individual, insurer, company, association, organization, Lloyd's insurer, society, reciprocal insurer or interinsurance exchange, partnership, syndicate, business trust, corporation, and every legal entity. (4) COMMISSIONER. The Commissioner of Insurance of this state. (5) DEPARTMENT. The Department of Insurance of this state. (6) DOMESTIC INSURER. One formed under the laws of this state. Section 27-15-72 Nonforfeiture benefits. Section 27-27-18 Domestic mutual insurers - Deposit in trust of premiums or fees on qualifying applications. (a) All sums collected by a domestic mutual corporation as premiums or fees on qualifying applications for insurance therein shall be deposited in trust in a bank or trust company in this state under a written trust agreement approved by the commissioner and consistent with this section and with subdivision (c) (3) of Section 27-27-17. The corporation shall file an executed copy of such trust agreement with the commissioner. Section 34-24-125 Chiropractic agreements. (a) For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) CHIROPRACTOR.
