Section 8-6-7 Registration of securities - Registration by qualification. (a) Any security
may be registered by qualification. (b) A registration statement under this section shall
contain the following information and be accompanied by the following documents in addition
to payment of the registration fee prescribed in Section 8-6-8 and, if required under Section

Section 7-8-102 Definitions. (a) In this article: (1) "Adverse claim" means a claim
that a claimant has a property interest in a financial asset and that it is a violation of
the rights of the claimant for another person to hold, transfer, or deal with the financial
asset. (2) "Bearer form," as applied to a certificated security, means a form in
which the security is payable to the bearer of the security certificate according to its terms
but not by reason of an indorsement. (3) "Broker" means a person defined as a broker

Section 27-25-6 Companies to file rates. (a) Every title insurer shall file with the commissioner
its schedule of premium rates and every modification of any premium rate that it proposes
to use in this state. The premium rates shall not be subject to rebate and the rebate of premiums
to the insured are expressly prohibited. If a reissue premium rate is filed by an insurer,
an insured may receive reissue credit only when the insured physically produces the prior
title insurance policy, including schedules associated therewith, issued by a title insurer
licensed to be engaged in the business of title insurance in this state. A title insurer that
has not filed its premium rates pursuant to the provisions hereof shall not engage in the

Section 45-8-242 Levy of tax; advisory referendum; collection of tax; disposition of funds.
(a) This section shall only apply to Calhoun County. (b) As used in this section, state sales
and use tax means the tax imposed by the state sales and use tax statutes, including, but

when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection, except

Section 27-21A-6 Fiduciary responsibilities of directors, officers, employees, and partners.
(a) Any director, officer, employee, or partner of a health maintenance organization who receives,
collects, disburses, or invests funds in connection with the activities of such organization
shall be responsible for such funds in a fiduciary relationship to the organization. (b) A
health maintenance organization shall maintain in force a fidelity bond on employees and officers
in an amount not less than $25,000 or such other sum as may be prescribed by the commissioner.
All such bonds shall be written with at least a one-year discovery period and if written with
less than a three-year discovery period shall contain a provision that no cancellation or
termination of the bond, whether by or at the request of the insured or by the underwriter,

Section 27-42-12 Exhaustion of rights; nonduplication of recovery. (a) Any person having a
claim under an insurance policy, whether or not it is a policy issued by a member insurer,
where the claim under the other policy arises from the same facts, injury, or loss that gave
rise to the covered claim against the association, shall be required first to exhaust all
coverage provided by any such policy. Any amount payable on a covered claim under this chapter
shall be reduced by the full applicable limits stated in the other insurance policy and the
association shall receive a full credit for the stated limits, or, where there are no applicable
stated limits, the claim shall be reduced by the total recovery. Notwithstanding the foregoing,
