Section 2-19-121 Definitions. As used in this article, the following words shall have the meaning stated below, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) BOLL WEEVIL. Anthonomus grandis Boheman in any stage of development. (2) CERTIFICATE. A document issued or authorized by the commissioner indicating that a regulated article is not contaminated with boll weevils. (3) COMMISSIONER. The Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries or his designated representative. (4) COTTON. (a) Drugs will be considered for the Medicaid preferred drug list based on clinical efficacy, side effect profiles, appropriate usage, and cost effectiveness. (a) Every insurer authorized to write and engaged in writing, on a direct basis, fire and extended coverage insurance in Alabama shall be and remain a member of the Alabama Insurance Underwriting Association, an unincorporated nonprofit joint underwriting association organized in 1970 and in continuous existence from 1970 through November 1, 2008.
