Section 27-19-1 Applicability of article. Nothing in this article shall apply to or affect: (1) Any policy of liability or workmen's compensation insurance, with or without supplementary expense coverage therein; (2) Any group or blanket policy; (3) Life insurance, endowment, or annuity contracts, or contracts supplemental thereto which contain only such provisions relating to disability insurance as: a. Provide additional benefits in case of death or dismemberment or loss of sight by accident; or b. Operate to safeguard such contracts against lapse or to give a special surrender value, or special benefit or an annuity in the event that the insured or annuitant becomes totally and permanently disabled, as defined by the contract or supplemental contract; (4) Reinsurance; or (5) Industrial insurance, which is disability insurance issued under policies sold on a debit basis, bearing the words "industrial policy" imprinted on the face of the policy as part of the descriptive matter, and...

Section 27-31A-5 Compulsory associations. (a) No risk retention group shall be required or permitted to join or contribute financially to any insurance insolvency guaranty fund, or similar mechanism, in this state, nor shall any risk retention group, or its insureds, or claimants against its insureds, receive any benefit from any fund for claims arising under the insurance policies issued by that risk retention group. Section 27-5B-10 Reinsurer not licensed, accredited or certified - Additional reinsurance agreement requirements. Section 27-7-30 Appointment of producer - Generally. (a) Each insurer appointing a producer in this state shall file with the commissioner, in a format approved by the commissioner, a notice of appointment within 15 days from the date the agency contract is executed or the first insurance application is submitted, whichever occurs first. An insurer may also elect to appoint a producer to all or some insurers within the insurer's holding company system or group by the filing of a single appointment request. (a) If an accredited or certified reinsurer ceases to meet the requirements for accreditation or certification, the commissioner may suspend or revoke the reinsurer's accreditation or certification.
