Section 27-45A-5 Disclosure of cost share information; discussion and sale of prescription
drug alternatives; prohibited payment practices. (a) A pharmacy or pharmacist may provide
a covered person with information regarding the amount of the covered person's cost share
for a prescription drug. Neither a pharmacy nor a pharmacist shall be proscribed by a pharmacy
benefits manager from discussing any such information or for selling a more affordable alternative
to the covered person if such an alternative is available. (b) A health benefit plan that
covers prescription drugs may not include a provision that requires an enrollee to make a
payment for a prescription drug at the point of sale in an amount that exceeds the lessor
of: (1) the contracted co-payment amount; or (2) the amount an individual would pay for a
prescription if that individual were paying with cash. (c) For purposes of this section, the

Section 40-12-330 Exemptions for blind persons. All blind persons, as defined in Section 40-1-1,
shall be entitled to exemption from the payment of all state, county, city, or municipal privilege
licenses on filing with the probate judge or license commissioner of the county in which said
license is due the certificate provided for in this section. Such exemptions shall not exceed
the sum of $75 for state privilege license and $75 for county, city, or municipal privilege
licenses during any year. No person shall come within the provisions of this section who has
not been a continuous bona fide resident of the State of Alabama for a period of two years
next preceding the filing of the application for the benefits hereunder. Any person claiming

benefits. Subject to subsection (h), any member who, after accumulating 10 years of paid membership
time, experiences a total disability as a result of a non-service connected disability shall
