Section 27-29B-3 Disclosure requirement. (a) Not later than June 1 of each calendar year, an insurer or the insurance group of which the insurer is a member, shall submit to the commissioner a Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure that contains the information described in Section 27-29B-5. Notwithstanding any request from the commissioner made pursuant to subsection (c), if the insurer is a member of an insurance group, the insurer shall submit the report required by this section to the commissioner of the lead state for the insurance group in accordance with the laws of the lead state as determined by the procedures outlined in the most recent Financial Analysis Handbook adopted by the NAIC. Section 27-44-5 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) ACCOUNT. (a) The following items shall be deducted from federal taxable income for purposes of computing taxable income under this chapter: (1) Refunds of state and local income taxes. Section 8-32-3 Requirements for selling or offering to sell service contracts. (a) Either the provider or its designee shall: (1) Provide a receipt for, or other written evidence of, the purchase of the service contract to the contract holder. (2) Provide a copy of the service contract to the service contract holder within a reasonable period of time from the date of purchase. (b) A provider may, but is not required to, appoint an administrator or other designee to be responsible for any or all of the administration of service contracts and compliance with this chapter. Section 27-5-11 Limits of risk. (a) No insurer shall retain any risk on any one subject of insurance, whether located or to be performed in this state or elsewhere, in an amount exceeding 10 percent of its surplus to policyholders.
